Epic Games has launched Thanos with the power he deserves in the latest Fortnite Limited Time mode update, following negative feedback on the nerfing of the thanos gauntlet.
The Avengers: Infinity War/ Fortnite Limited Time mode crossover started earlier this week, and a day later Thanos was nerfed. Epic said it would monitor feedback and there was a great deal of it, with most players not happy by the tweak, and Epic has taken the feedback on board.
“We’ve just pushed additional adjustments to Thanos and the Limited Time Mashup,” read the update. “Our goal is to allow more folks to truly experience the power of Thanos, while also making you feel powerful when wielding the gauntlet.”
Thanos’ beam, which was decreased from 15 to 12, has now been increased from 12 to 20. His health was increased from 700 to 800 when he was nerfed, and this has now been reduced from 800 to 500. The nerf also decreased his shield cap from 300 to 200. This hasn’t been touched in the latest update, but his punch damage has been bolstered from 80 to 100.
The Infinity Gauntlet will also take longer to spawn, from “bus ride plus 30-45s to bus ride plus 120-135s.” Bandages and Slurp Juice won’t spawn at all. You can check out all of the changes right here.
If you need a hand becoming the Mad Titan, we’ve got you covered. The Fortnite/ Avengers crossover could be the start of something big.
